This week, the blog posts keep coming. Two posts ago, I wrote about the issue of the difficulty defining Equality of Opportunity. Then, about the double-standard inherent in the capitol riot, which has now claimed the life of a police officer. Today, I want to get back to economics with a video post about the employment situation.
Each month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its “Employment Situation Summary”. The report is a valuable document. It is also very easy to read and access. In the video below, I walk you through some key definitions. Then, I discuss some trends in the data that I think are interesting. In doing so, we will look at the actual report, and navigate some of its many tables. The video is roughly 15 minutes, and I hope you enjoy!
